Frequently Asked Questions
-
The first consultation is a free 25-minute phone or video call. It's a chance for us to get to know each other before you commit to ongoing sessions.
During this call, we'll typically cover:
What's bringing you to therapy right now
Whether you're looking for individual, couples, or family support
Any language preference (English, Vietnamese, or both)
Logistics — telehealth vs. in-person, scheduling availability, and insurance or self-pay
Any questions you have about my approach or background
You don't need to prepare anything or have it all figured out. You're welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable. By the end of the call, you'll have a clear sense of whether we're a good fit, and if so, we can schedule your first full session.

Yes. I offer sessions in English, Vietnamese, or a mix of both, which is especially helpful for couples and families where generations may be more comfortable in different languages.
-
I combine mindfulness and body-based practices with Western clinical methods like EMDR. My background as a Buddhist monastic and certified meditation instructor shapes how I hold space for you with compassion, patience, and respect for your story, family, and culture. Sessions are always tailored to your needs, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

I offer both virtual and in-person sessions at my office at 8791 Wolff Court, Suite 230, Westminster, CO 80031

Most clients begin with weekly sessions, adjusting frequency as we go.

Completely okay. Many clients I work with are new to therapy, and it's normal to feel unsure or nervous. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and never judged — whatever pace you need.
