Betrayal PTSD is a quiet storm that lingers in the heart—where trust was once rooted, now grow thorns of doubt and fear. Its symptoms whisper and shout: sudden waves of sadness, restless nights, flashbacks like broken mirrors, and a hypervigilant mind bracing for the next wound. The soul aches with confusion, the body holds tension, and the world feels less safe, less kind. Relationships strain under the weight of invisible scars, and self-worth, once whole, becomes scattered like fallen leaves in the wind.
-
If you’ve ever scanned a room for danger without knowing why, braced yourself for the worst before anything happened, or felt your heart race from a thought alone—you’re not broken. You’re surviving. This group isn’t about fixing you; it’s about offering gentle tools to help your nervous system feel a little safer, one breath at a time. Mindfulness isn't about clearing your mind or getting it “right”—it’s about learning to stay with yourself, kindly, even when things feel hard. You already know how to pay attention—this is about learning to do it with compassion.
-
If you’ve spent a lifetime making sure everyone else is okay—often at the cost of your own needs—you’re not alone. People-pleasing is often a survival strategy, born from a deep desire to belong, to stay safe, to feel loved. But constantly shaping yourself to fit others can leave you feeling invisible, exhausted, or unsure of who you really are. This group is a place to gently come home to yourself. Through the practice of self-compassion, we’ll learn how to say “yes” to ourselves without guilt, to soften the inner critic, and to honor our own voice—not as selfish, but as sacred. You’re allowed to take up space. Let’s begin there.

Each month, we invite you to join us for a 2–3 hour mindful group hike through Boulder’s beautiful natural landscapes. With guided mindfulness practices woven into the walk, this is a chance to reconnect—with your breath, your body, the earth beneath your feet, and the community around you. Together, we’ll explore the healing power of presence and the deep sense of belonging that arises when we remember our place in nature. Come as you are—no experience needed, just a willingness to slow down and be.

This monthly event is a warm, welcoming space to slow down and reconnect—with yourself and with others. We’ll begin with a guided meditation to ground our minds and open our hearts, followed by a shared mindful meal enjoyed in silence and gratitude. Rooted in presence and simplicity, this gathering offers nourishment for both body and spirit. Come as you are, and join us in practicing stillness, connection, and community.
